Outreach to Kampung Kindu (KIND) series 2 was held during the semester break from
21st of June until 30th of June 2018 at the same place which is Kampung Kindu, Tuaran, Sabah. For second series, we focus on few main objectives which are to enhance religous
understanding among the villagers, provide basic needs for the family who are really in need and motivate the students involved regarding the higher education. Previously, the first series intend to make a survey and research and what they found that this village need to be continue as it need a lot of improvement.
There were few projects that we have decided to do in Kampung Kindu which includes zikir board, street light, colouring road bump and mini library. We managed to finish all the projects within six days of staying there. As well as conducting modules for the villagers.
Activities during our time in Kampung Kindu ;
1st day:
Bonding time with family foster & villagers
2nd day:
Group Binding, Build Trademark and Animal Drawing (for kids)
Ziarah Qudum at Kg. Sunsang
Tahsin Al fatihah (for kids and adults)
3rd day:
Tahsin Solat and Wudhu’ (for kids)
Project : Mini library & Road bump painting
Janazah management : Bathing session (for kids and adults)
4th day:
Sport day (for kids)
Project : Zikr Board
Janazah Management : Kafan and Solat session (for kids and adults)
5th day:
Mahabbah Visit to Kg. Sunsang
Project : Streetlight
Fundamental of Fiqh : Taharah (for kids and adults)
6th day:
Rewang
Malam Raya and Closing ceremony
On the other hand, after we have done our activities in Kamoung Kindu, we continue our journey to SMKS Tun Said, Kota Belud, to conduct an educational program. It takes two days to complete all slots that have been provided by the module team.

KINDS2 has successfully ended with good relationship within the committees, villagers, the school teachers and as well as the students. Thank you to IIUM for trusting us in conducting an outreach in Sabah. Special thanks to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shamsul Jamili, Madam Hafsah, and Brother Zainuddin for coming to Kg.
