BEST’ 18 is an acronym for Bum Bum Sabah Educational Outreach, a combination of both outreach and educational camp. This programme aims to give further exposure of higher education to the teenagers in the village and school. It also attempts an initiative to solve some basic problems together with the help of the villagers. Furthermore, it promotes the significance of a life-long education and to boost further progress in the usage of English among the targeted group consisting of the villagers and school students. The data collected throughout this program will be used as future references for outreaches that will take place in the coming times.

BEST’18 has ended successfully. This marks bittersweet memories to the committees. We had established a good relationship with the villagers and students from the school and they have a high hope that we would return and conduct another program there. It was such an honor to be a guest in Sabah. The committees, on the other hand, had worked hard on making this program to be as beneficial as it can be. We would use all that we have learned from BEST’18 in our continuous effort in serving the community for upcoming outreaches. Thankyou to IIUM for trusting us in making this project successful. Big thanks to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shamsul Jamili, Madam Hafsah, and Brother Zainuddin for coming during Rewang Raya BEST’18 Open House.
